Philanthropy/Community Service
Our chapter provides an opportunity for engagement in many philanthropic activities and community service. Our chapter has hosted several successful charity events, raised money and awareness for philanthropic causes and made a positive impact in Boone. Every Brother contributes at least twelve hours of community service per semester and most go above and beyond the call of duty.
Sigma Nu has partnered up again with High Country to Haiti Volleyball Tournament. The event will be on April 1st and registration is at 10 AM. It will be located in Varsity Gym and is $10 a person, with 5-6 people per team! This tournament is put on with the help of App State's Womens Volleyball. Proceeds of this event will go towards Nehemiah Vision Ministries who help those in need in Haiti! There will be food provided. The first 50 people to signup will get a free tshirt. Scholarship |
Intellectual development is a pivotal part of being a true Sigma Nu in our chapter. We take academics seriously and take pride in seeing our brothers do well in the classroom, as well as beyond. We consistently rank in the top of the standings for overall chapter GPA, and this past semester we were the only fraternity on campus to receive a Black and Gold standing within our SOE requirements for both current members and new members.
